1) What is the Director's Registry?
The MICG Director's Registry is a central source to assist companies in locating qualified director candidates and to assist qualified director candidates in locating companies seeking a director.
2) How does the registry work?
Companies seeking director candidates should fill out a Request for Prospective Director information form and forward it to MICG. Following a search of MICG's database files, the company will receive a confidential summary of candidate information for those candidates who most closely meet the specifications provided. Based on the information provided, the company then initiates contact directly with the prospective director candidates.
3) What happens if the candidates do not fit with the organization?
Often times, there are numerous candidates that closely meet the requested specifications, so we will provide additional candidates.
4) Can any company in need of a director use the registry?
MICG does not have any limitations. MICG is attempting to provide a service to listed and non-listed companies to reduce the arduous, time consuming and sometimes expense undertaking in locating a director.
5) How long does it take to complete a typical search?
MICG's goal is to provide a list of qualified candidates within two weeks of the initial request.
6) Who is in the Director's Registry Database?
All Corporate Directors that are interested in participating and any individual that is interested in becoming a director are welcome to join the database.
7) How does a candidate looking to become a director get involved?
Simply complete a Director's Registry Candidate Registration Form. This simple, form provides the Corporate Directors with the data points necessary to enter the candidate in to our registry database. We also request the candidate provide a current Bio/Resume to assist in placing the candidate. |
